This course will examine American history from 1914 to 1945, a topsy-turvy period, during which time Americans experienced a boom, a bust and two world wars. Among the subjects that the class will examine closely are: the Red Scare, the Scopes Trial, Prohibition, the Great Crash, the New Deal and the home front during World War II. 3 credit hours.
