Fall-Spring Semesters The intent of this course is to introduce the student to the fundamental elements necessary to perform in an audio or video production. Special emphasis is placed upon development of the voice and camera presence. Students are expected to learn basic announcing techniques and appropriate bearing and movement before the camera. Students can expect to learn different techniques used to perform in a variety of program formats, including news, talk, interviews, promotional spots, advertising and public service announcements. 3 credit hours.
