Fall-Spring Semesters This course is a continuation of SPN101. Before entering this course, students are expected to be able to communicate at a basic level to satisfy immediate needs. In this level, students will learn to communicate beyond the present tense, to participate in short conversations, and to create with the language. Topics will continue to focus on survival skills such as asking/giving directions, making purchases, arranging transportation, and ordering a meal. Prerequisite: SPN101 or equivalent. Students must receive a grade of 2 or better in SPN101 before enrolling in SPN102. 3 credit hours. Satisfies ADR V.
