Prereq: ETec 272, 371, EET major or written permission. A second course in electronic devices and circuits with increased emphasis on mathematical modeling and techniques used in analysis and design. Study of semiconductor theory and devices, small and large signal amplifier configurations, hybrid-pi models, frequency response and multistage circuits. Laboratory with emphasis on practical design, construction, testing and evaluation. Formal report preparation.
