This course is designed to explore formal and informal means for classroom teachers to assess exceptional students. Administration of evaluation instruments used for classroom diagnosis, programming, and evaluation is required. How to plan, facilitate, implement, and document transition procedures across the life span are explored along with state and federal laws pertaining to transition issues and services.
