A further study of harmony and the introduction to the neapolitan triad, augmented sixth chords, ninth, eleventh, and thirteenth chords, modes, pandiatonicism, quartal harmony, twelve-tone serialism, aleatoric process, transposing, planing, exotic scales and other modern techniques. Required of music and fine arts-music majors. Students are strongly encouraged to take this course concurrently with MUSI 2117. Prerequisite: MUSI 2311
