This course is an introduction to the unique situation of educational interpreting. Topics include elementary and secondary school interpreting, ethical applications, legal issues and tutoring/note taking strategies. Students will learn the basics of transliterating and have the opportunity to practice transliterating and interpreting in an educational setting. Prerequisites: SGLG302, SLIN303, SLIN320, SLIN321.
