Clinical course provides learning experiences with adult clients with acute, complex problems. Concepts related to care of the client with major injuries and illness or system failure are discussed. Principles of the nursing process, growth and development, nutrition, cultural sensitivity, pharmacology, health teaching, caring and communication are integrated throughout. Prerequisite(s): NURS 131, NURS 132, NURS 133, and NURS 143; NURS 211, or instructor permission.
