The course explores the history, philosophy and present status of violence int he family.l This course will provide students with the opportunity to examine cultural and social perspectives regarding domestic violence. Students will gain insight into the family abuse landscape, including the issues of child abuse, sexual offenders, and elder maltreatment. Also includes will be exposure to service delivery systems provided by Human Services agencies.
