Students will gain knowledge of the mechanics of an ultrasound department as well as the duties and responsibilities of the clinical sonographer. Students will be provided with the opportunity to apply sonographic theory to observation of sonographic exams and limited hands-on scanning in the clinical setting. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the program or program chair permission.
