This course will focus on the study and application of the principles of college writing and reading with an emphasis on critical and analytical study. Students will write essays that follow several rhetorical methods including description, expository and persuasion. In addition to the three hours of class time and homework assignments, this course requires one hour per week of individual instruction. Prerequisite(s): Must be coded/admitted as a member of the Bridge Program. Students completing IDS-091 or ENGL-095 must have earned a "C" grade or better.
