Didactic course provides experiences for the client with chronic physical and mental disorders across the lifespan. Emphasis is on self-awareness and a respect for the dignity of the individual. Principles of the nursing process, growth and development, nutrition, cultural sensitivity, pharmacology, health teaching, caring and communication are integrated throughout. Prerequisite(s): NURS 211, NURS 212, NURS 241 or instructor permission.
