A practical course to teach database programming in PL/SQL, XML and Java using the following Java APIs: JDBC, RMI, Servlets, Swing. In this course, students learn how to write database-centric program using the latest developments in the relational database management systems and object-oriented technology. The development environment used is Oracle. Prerequisite: CSCI:181; INFS:174 or CSCI:281. 4 SH.
