Intended for students with previous experience in the language but who have not placed above the first-year level. Two semesters normally covered in SPAN:103-104 are covered in one summer session of SPAN:105. Through a variety of activities, the course focuses on further development of speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills along with any necessary review to prepare students to continue with Spanish at the 200-level. 8 SH.
