Formerly ENVSC 218. This course provides students with training in environmental conservation planning for working with private landowners and governmental agencies. Procedures and guidelines outlined in the National Planning Procedures handbook (NPPH) and current conservation planning policies are emphasized. Multidisciplinary in nature, this course prepares students to assess needs and impacts on and off-site. Writing conservation plans for private landowners and governmental agencies also is covered.
