Examines the means by which countries negotiate international trade. In part, the course is theoretical, examining standard theories of trade. In part it is empirical, with hemispheric trade as the substantive focus. Finally, in part the course is practical. Students are engaged in a computer-based simulation exercise with students from other universities.
