Enhances basic language skills learned in Beginning Chinese but focuses on language proficiency, particularly in the areas of description, narration, correspondence and comparisons based on situational context. Students attend four weekly classes. Video and audio materials are used. Four credits per term. Prerequisite for 2401: C- or better in CHIN 1402 or permission of area chair. Prerequisite for 2402: C- or better in CHIN 2401 or permission of area chair.
