This course will continue to build on the skills of language, conversation, and culture through the medium of classic Italian opera. Students will become familiar with great opera through discussion of well-known characters, plots, settings, themes, criticism, and interpretation while at the same time expand their vocabulary and acquire accuracy and fluency.
