This course will examine key scientific concepts related to three major aspects of the broader issue of global sustainability - global climate change, feeding the world's population, and threats to world health. Each of these aspects will serve as the focal point for several weeks of the course. Basic concepts of biology, chemistry, and physics will be introduced as appropriate within the context of each aspect. Prerequisites - none. Natural Science Tier 1 course. Three credits.
