This course is planned to prepare students for an employment search for the Internship experience. The skills attained will assist with any professional job search. Internship takes place in the summer between the junior and senior years. The 240 hour, six week experience may take place in a broad range of situations from print design studios, woven design studios, craftsmen apprenticeships, museum textile collections, and textile showrooms. The course prepares the student to write her resume, compose cover letters, prepare her portfolio, and conduct a job search. Guest speakers and guests from the field will acquaint students with career possibilities and professional expectations.
