This course is designed for students with a serious interest in mural painting and will offer an intense A to Z study of the process of making a mural. Moore students will work side-by-side with students from the University of the Andes, Merida, designing and painting a mural on a 3-story wall that the University has reserved in the center of their Arts and Architecture Campus. This site has plenty of open space in which to view the mural site as well a spectacular view of the snow packed mountain peaks that surround the area. Working with the students and faculty of the University of Andes offers a unique international cultural experience. The Mural class and international study opportunity is fully support by the U.S. Embassy. Michele Lee in Merida will provide local coordination for the trip. Students will staying in the gorgeous 18th century style hotel, Pasada La Montan centrally located in the center of Merida.
