Thesis is advanced work, research and in-depth study in an area of print or woven design either for industry or personal expression or both. Students will choose any aspect of the field of textiles as a focus for their senior thesis. The semester culminates in the formal presentation of a body of work to the Textile department students and faculty. Weekly critiques with peers and faculty emphasize the ability with guest speakers, field research trips and discussions of current aesthetic, social or related political issues.
