The study and utilization of the components of visual storytelling with an illustrative objective. The focus is on the process of developing a complex narrative painting through research, visual studies and the usage of primary and secondary reference sources and materials. The course includes an overview of historical and contemporary imaginative painting. This is an intensive studio experience.
