This course is specifically designed as an opportunity for Juniors and Seniors to build upon and to explore in-depth concepts an ideas are developed out of and in tandem with an area of specialty. The student is expected to set herself challenging assignments and be able to accomplish them. It is required that she engage in serious research for her chosen area of study and to generate new skills and ideas from that experience. She must acquire the permission of the Chair and have the consent of a faculty member to serve as her advisor. A detailed plan of her proposed course of study must be presented for approval.
