Business and Educational institutions depend on a wide variety of computer-generated presentation and sales materials from color slides and overhead transparencies to automated multimedia videos. After an overview of traditional technologies used to produce these materials, this course combines the latest in web animation tools, including Macromedia Director, used to automate the production and improve the quality of business presentation materials. Through Flash, students learn to create animated banners, logos, and comics, using sound and scanned imagery. Assignments give students the opportunity to create a variety of presentation pieces that include custom graphics and illustrations.
