Each student will participate in an intensive ten day practicum in Nashville, Tennessee. Briefings, tours, meetings, and internships will be arranged with leading record companies, artist management firms, booking agencies, recording studios, concert promoters, writers, producers and artists. Projected visits include Word Records, Sparrow Records, Curb Records, Columbia Records, Epic Records, Benson Records, Gaither Music, Gaylord Entertainment, BMI, ASCAP, NARAS, CCM Magazine, and the GMA, plus local radio, music television, and cable outlets. This CMPR course is only offered through the Contemporary Music Program of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities. Class 1.
