The focus of this course is the exploration of the physical, sociological, and psychological causes of individual differences in literacy learning. Students will discover methods for diagnosing reading needs and providing remediation activities, as they interact with individual children and groups during the process of reading and writing instruction. (May be taken by secondary education students.) (This course is taken as a part of the student teaching block.) Class 3. Prerequisites: READ 3003 and READ 3123. (Spring)
