Students focus on the purposes of education, state and federal laws related to education, teacher and student rights and responsibilities, ethics, educational philosophy, effective schools research, equity and excellence in education, human developmental processes, classroom climate, the relationship of the school to the larger community, and requirements for teaching in Texas.
