Provides a broad understanding of all aspects of the air transportation industry. The scope of course material includes knowledge of state and federal regulations and the basis for their establishment. Requirements of the past, present and future with respect to aircraft and engine design, airports and supporting facilities are reviewed and evaluated. Students are introduced to the practical economics of airline operations and maintenance and the factors which affect a profit or loss situation. Class 2. Prerequisites: AERF 1103 and AVTC 1003.
