Anatomy and physiology of the blood/circulatory system, medical/lab terms, lab policies/procedures, and proper specimen handling. On-campus lab sessions prepare students to perform standard and difficult draws, capillary punctures. Prerequisite: AHE 110, 116, BSTEC 129, 135, HIV/AID and CPR. All with a minimum grade of 2.0 or equivalent.
