Topics covered include software engineering; software process and its difficulties; software life-cycle models; project planning including cost elimination; design methodologies including structured design, data-structure oriented design, object-oriented design; and software testing. A brief review of data structures is included. Prerequisite: CSC 2303 or consent of instructor.
