Examines major aspects of Latin American production, income distribution, labor force, foreign investment and trade, as contrasted with their more industrialized trading partners. Surveys contemporary issues such as the "debt crisis" and "currency devaluation." Prerequisites: ECO 2301 and ECO 2302 or consent of instructor.
