Study of representative contemporary Spanish novels and short stories of the 1980s and 1990s, exploring how the social, political, and aesthetic milieu affects these writings. Critical studies of these works, both from within and outside of Spain aid in the discussion of these primary works. This course is being offered on a provisional basis pending final approval.
