(Summer; Yearly; 1.00 Credit; S,I) This course explores family participation in the learning process, an introduction to multicultural education, resources of the school system and community, and the use of volunteers in the ESL classroom. The course will also examine the needs and resources available to special education students. Prerequisites: Permission of the instructor and Recommendation of the Education Department for Juniata College Education POE students. Register for this course if you want to do the TESL program but do not want to receive college credits.
