(Fall; Odd Years; 3.00 Credits; CW,N) Broadly integrative in nature, this class examines the fate and actions of xenobiotic compounds in environmental systems and focuses on the potential for deleterious consequences in wildlife species and humans. Examines aspects of chemistry, cell biology and ecology in considering environmental contamination. instruction includes lectures and student presentations/writing exercises. Prerequisites: BI106 or CH106 and permission of the instructor.
