This course focuses on educating students to develop complex graphical user interfaces and animation. Students explore that software and its Action Script programming language while working with navigational elements, animated graphics and rich multimedia content, including sound and video. Current and future directions of Web interactivity and Web animations are addressed, with a focus on cross-platform development, dynamic content integration, browser compatibility, bandwidth limitations and the online distribution of interactive Web content. Prerequisite: ANIM 342 or ELDS 325 or GRDS 384 or ITGM 353 or ITGM 355.
