Professional Practices in Sculpture prepares students with the practical skills to promote themselves, their skills and their artwork. Special attention is given to preparation of a portfolio, resume, contracts, record-keeping, copyright, and shipping. Students learn strategies for conducting research for job opportunities as well as how to seek gallery placement, grants, residencies and public art proposals. Prerequisite: SCPT 420.
