This course is designed to allow students to pursue in more depth the ideas and techniques introduced in 3-D Fibers. Students investigate historical and contemporary uses of basketry techniques, felting, handmade paper and other nonloom-produced fiber constructions. Emphasis is placed on these media and techniques as vehicles for ideas and personal expression. Prerequisite: FIBR 308.
