Precalculus is the study of functions and their graphs, inverse functions, polynomial functions, rational and irrational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, inverse trigonometric functions, Law of Sines, Law of Cosines, and analytic geometry. Prerequisites: MATH 1314 and MATH 1316 with a grade of "C" or better or an appropriate score on the mathsection of the SAT or ACT. Four class hours per week. Credit: Four semester hours.
