Description:

A course primarily for students with limited knowledge in playing the guitar and/or reading music. The course aids students in developing basic guitar techniques and music reading. Laboratory emphasis is placed upon students playing chords and learning to read guitar music and simple tabulator. Prerequisite: None, however students must supply their own instruments in good working conditions ( i.e., at the instructor's discretion). Two class hours per week and two laboratory hours per week. Credit: One semester hour.
