MAN 3025 and Junior standing. In this course, emphasis is placed on exploring the importance of cross-cultural understanding for international business, geographical patterns of different cultures to understand cultural regions and landscapes, patterns of geographical diffusion of cultures and business expansion, how to interpret those patterns and their meanings as related to international business, cultural similarities and differences, and country-level cultural traits and trends with business implications. Students will prepare a series of country-level cultural profiles (portfolio) and prepare cultural maps to promote active and long-term learning.
