(Prerequisites: ACC 252 or ACC 254, junior standing)Introduces students to the role accounting is playing in today’s business environment and how technology has impacted the techniques of accounting and reporting. Computerized models of accounting are used to explore the software tools available for decisions and reporting. Internet business and traditional business transactions will be evaluated. Students will see the effects of control features built into software systems.
