This course is designed to provide practical experience in identification of local flowering plants through the use of regional floras and recognition of common plant families. Elements of plant collection, identification, and herbarium techniques will be taught through classroom lectures and field and lab work. Students will be required to prepare their own plant collection. Prerequisite: PS 111.
