Various components of track and field training to prepare the student for competitive play are taught. These components include weight training, anaerobic and aerobic conditioning, stretching, plyometric training, nutrition, goal setting and teamwork. Intermediate conditioning includes hands-on involvement of administrative issues of track and field related to leadership and responsibility skills. For second year competitors in the intercollegiate track and field program only. Prerequisite: PE 157. [PE]
