2 hours A study of the basic principles and fundamentals of human pharmacology, to include a knowledge of the chemical and physical properties, biochemical and physiological effects, mechanism of action, absorption, distribution, and biotransformation and excretion, therapeutic use and adverse reactions of drugs commonly used in the treatment of athletic injuries. Prerequisite: Junior or Senior standing in A.T. Program.
