Description:
The Transfer Student Forum is a small group session offered to all new transfer students who bring in 28 or more credits, entering the college with sophomore standing or higher. This course takes into consideration the special needs of more experienced students, aiming to ensure that their academic and social transitions into the College community are successful. Normally, the course meets two times a week for the first half of the semester and is completed by the time of preregistration for the following semester. After the first week of classes, students may elect to waive the Transfer Student Forum, with the consent of their academic advisors.
