In this course, students independently study traditional Realistic acting theory (Stanislavski) as well as work on two large scenes with a partner. The techniques learned in THEA 240, Fundamentals of Acting, as well as new material gleaned from assigned readings, are used to guide their work in developing rich, nuanced presentations which may be used as examples in THEA 240 lectures. Prerequisite: THEA 340.
