Description:
A portfolio consists of the identification, description, and documentation of prior learning which can be equated to college-level learning. Hence, this course is designed to provide: (1) an orientation to the process of awarding college credit for prior learning; (2) the ability to equate college-level learning experiences to actual courses taught at either Neumann University or at other regionally accredited colleges and/or universities which would normally be accepted as transfer credit; (3) a perception of prior learning in relation to personal and professional educational goals; and (4) knowledge of and practice with the skills necessary to develop a portfolio. Prerequisites: LSENG 190 and LSLIT 110.
