Description:
A calculus-based overview of the concepts of probability and mathematical statistics is presented in this course. Topics of study include descriptive statistics, the fundamentals of probability, and univariate probability distributions. In this course, students learn to effectively communicate mathematical concepts in both an oral and written format. Prerequisite: MATH 351 (with a minimum grade of C) or permission of the instructor.
