Description:
The various ways in which crime victims are treated in and by the criminal justice system are studied. Specialized responses to victims of violence and the public's reactions to violence are also examined in depth. Through the application of psychological theory, which discusses issues of choice and motivation, students also analyze personality variables that are associated with criminal behavior. Prerequisite: A minimum of 12 LSCJ credits (with a minimum grade of C). Open to Liberal Studies Degree students only.
